I wish that I knew as no specific thing seems to trigger my attacks. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and have one. My doctor said that I must cut out caffeine(coffee, chocolate and coca cola) and it does help.

Thoughts and thoughts. One starts it, and the other can end it. There are various systems that train a person to control their thoughts. That is the best way to go. Tonya last thoughts prior to falling alseep will also have an effect. Ask me I know. :->

I also can't seem to identify what triggers mine. It's awful though. Try to breathe. It sounds stupid because sometimes you don't even notice that you are taking shallow breaths, but that makes you feel worse with your hands going numb and stuff. And keep telling yourself that you are okay, it will pass.

As soon as you feel one coming on, listen to soothing music, or watch a non violent movie. Make yourself a cup of camomile tea. If you are really breathing heavily, always have a paper bag in your home. Cover your nose and mouth and breath slowly, deeply into the bag a few times. It calms you down very quickly. But do buy some camomile tea and have a cup every evening before bed. The real flowers, make even better tea. Don't know where to find them in SA.

No idea, for me just happened. Control with medication : NO CAFFEINE, drink rooibos tea, take calmettes or rescue, MEDITATE, relax. When you start a panic attack, immediately tell yourself that that is what it is and continue to tell yourself, YOU ARE OKAY, IT IS ALL IN YOUR MIND, YOU ARE OKAY, TAKE DEEP BREATHS. STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND COUNT TO 10 WITH DEEP BREATHS. good luck

Anxiety & Panic attacks are just other names for Demonic Attacks. Nothing we can do but pray.

Have you ever thought about going to see a Holistic Healer? they'll be able to get to the root of the problem, the reason why you're getting panic attacks. They'll massage and unblock all your energy channels that are probably adding to your attacks....it's extremely relaxing and not to pricey.

Most panic/anxiety attacks are caused through your fear of something that might never happen or has happened and you are reliving the experience again. You need to face those fears head on. Remind yourself that it might never happen. Another way of looking at the word fear = False Evidence Appearing Real - why dont you chat to someone about this - try 0861106310
