What is your BEST LP COVER of all time?
Covers became less important with the advent of the CD but there are some iconic LP Covers? Whats your favourite and why?
I L-O-V-E-D Abraxas and I was struck by the originality of Babe Ruth's First Base. I think the Stones 'Sticky Fingers' LP was iconic for the wrong reason (the LP allegedly shows Mick Jagger's crotch while he has a semi. He wishes his semi was that big!)

There are quite a few to mention, but one that really comes to mind is Van Halen's album, 1984: The picture of the baby smoking, with an angel's halo above his head.

Pink Floyd's =Dark side of the moon. Pitch black cover with a rainbow coloured prism. Just beautiful and the music was good as well

Difficult to say -- so many. But what sprung to mind immediately was REVOLVER by The Beatles.

Santana had one..their first album..and on the cover was a black and white sketch of a lions head...but if you looked carefully, there were all sorts of bodies and heads hidden in the picture. (not sure of the album name)Sgt.Peppers was also good in that it was the first of its kind at the time. there were some good ones around in those days..more imaganitive that someones face.

I agree with Duits. Pink Floyds Dark Side of The Moon was an awesome cover.
